Construction of Tabriz-Azarshahr electric railway

TEHRAN – The executive deputy of Raja Passenger Train Company announced that operations are underway with the help of Russia for the establishment of an electric railway between Tabriz and Azarshahr.

Ghazanfar Fouladi stated that the length of Tabriz-Azarshahr railway is 46 kilometers and plans to transform it into an electric route started two months ago
